Scottish Growth Scheme – UMi Debt Finance LP, acting by its General Partner, General Partner UMi Scotland Ltd, jointly with the Scottish Ministers (the Partnership); together with the Fund Manager, UMi Investment Ltd, are Data Controllers in Common for the information you submit.
We will use the information that you have provided for the following legitimate reasons:
To administer your application, including eligibility checks, and where necessary identity and credit checks, and if successful, your loan agreement and subsequent repayments;
To manage our relationship with you and for customer satisfaction, monitoring and evaluation, including reporting to our Funders;
To assist with record keeping, statistical and research purposes, and statutory purposes;
To let you know about other services from UMi, where we think these will be of benefit to you or your company. You can let us know at any time if you no longer wish to receive this information.
We will store your information for as long as we have a relationship with you, or as long as required for audit purposes. Where we have collected information about your identity, we are required to keep this information for 5 years after the end of your agreement, under Money Laundering Regulations.
Other than our funders and the fund manager, your information may be shared when we use the services of a data processor, for example for IT services; we have data processor agreements in place and if any data is transferred outside the EEA we ensure that an appropriate level of protection is in place.
