Virtual Business Funding Clinics

Dave, our Investment Executive, will be hosting an online funding clinic via LinkedIn & Email for SME owners trading in Scotland. He will be available every Friday in July and August from 09.30 - 10.30 to answer questions around how to gain funding and wider business support to take your business further.

Business owners, accountants, advisors and consultants keep telling us that gaining finance for existing SMEs from the traditional sources is getting more frustrating. A lack of knowledge and flexibility, the inability to actually meet a lender face to face and slow execution are barriers they keep hitting.

Ask yourself these questions:

  • Are you looking to grow your business reach but struggling with the cash flow requirement to do so?

  • Are you looking for a capital injection to invest in assets or new initiatives, to bridge cash flow during a growth period or all of these?

  • Are you having challenges with your bank or primary funder? Do they really understand your business, your industry and your strategy?

  • Are you needing more flexibility in your funding solution than you are being offered by your bank?

  • Do you need help producing the business plan, the trading forecasts or simply packaging the whole story?

  • Do you have an opportunity that needs acted on quickly?

  • Are you actively considering Equity Investment but worried about giving away too much shareholding? Would you rather take a balanced Debt & Equity funding solution?

  • Are you looking for more than just money to fuel your business growth?

If you are running an existing SME (Ltd or LLP), trading in Scotland and you answered yes to any of the above questions then get in touch with Dave on LinkedIn or by Email.

Confidentiality is assured; all communications are private and at UMi we offer a no obligation consultative approach to help you go further.

If we can help you take your business to the next stage (directly or by referring you to other support bodies) then we are delighted to be able to assist.
